Good evening, I would like to welcome you all, Past Queens and officers of Khem Temple,, Potentate, Divan, Nobles of Morocco Temple and Ladies of the Household.

Thank you, Past Supreme Queen Opal for installing me. It certainly is a high honor to have been installed by someone who has served in such an exalted office as Supreme Queen of the Supreme Temple, Daughters of the Nile. I appreciate your support.

The theme for this year is and I can sincerely say my life has been made brighter tonight by having you here to share this experience with me. I welcome you with a feeling of love and I am very glad you came.

Fifteen years ago, I was initiated into Khem Temple As time went by and I became more active in its affairs, I developed a desire to serve Khem Temple in its highest office. Tonight is the beginning of the fulfillment of that desire.

As I stand here looking out at the faces of so many of my close and dear friends, I feel the honor you have bestowed upon me this night will indeed be the highlight of my Nile career.

To assure that our temple continues to move forward, will require a dedicated effort from all of us. I am tonight committing myself to this dedicated effort. I sincerely request of you, Past Queens, Officers and Ladies of the Household a like commitment. Only then will we know that we can fully support our nobles in their great philanthropy and that Khem Temple will grow and prosper.

As someone once said, every child should know a hill and the joy of running down its long slope. We in KHEM TEMPLE believe that our nobles in MOROCCO TEMPLE are helping to provide that symbolic hill for all the patients in the SHRINER'S HOSPITALS FOR CRIPPLE AND BURNED CHILDREN. It is a noble cause, the success of which they can by justly proud.

Illustrious Sir, Divan, and Nobles of Morocco Temple, we in Khem Temple thank you for the opportunity to assist you in this great philanthropy. We feel that our patients, with strong and healthy bodies, will indeed, someday, experience the joy of running down their own long slope

I will take the responsibility of this office seriously, but as I face these responsibilities, one day at a time, I will not let them lay so heavily that I do not take time to share the joy of this office with you. I hope I can touch each of your lives with a kind thought, special smile and word of praise as we meet to work and play together.

Now as we go forward, hand in hand, making all the wonderful things in life happen, I want you to feel, as I do, that extra warmth and sense of belonging, knowing that we are not alone and that we in KHEM TEMPLE care for one another. It will be a pleasure to serve KHEM TEMPLE as Queen and I thank you for this opportunity.
